Around the Sun with 0 Brain

People!!! The craziness, wackiness, stupidness, madness, yuckiness and pukiness is a year old now! Yup, today was that non-eventful, Facepalm Day exactly a year ago, when I decided to burden the world with my brainwave and this blog!
So, this blog has gone around the sun once, is still standing and without a brain, mind you!
I wanted to have a contest and give away goodies, but I couldn't find a sponsor. So I'll just go with thanking everyone!

I dedicate this post and day to my GODS! The readers, the awesome readers who have been crazy enough to visit, some even mad enough to comment and few stupid enough to subscribe and follow this blog! Then there are few retards who have been regular at all of the above, believe me you I have no idea how you guys pull that off! Thank you all from the warmth of bottom of my heart and dirty underwear!
And I'm gonna dare and go ahead with thanking some of those 'retard readers' personally.

All my friends, each one of them, they are the 'Neil Armstrong' for this blog. To each one of you, thank you guys! You made me believe in me and this blog, enough to put it out to the rest of the world.
My sisters, they have always been a catalyst to boost my confidence. Thank you for being there always!
The Truck Driver, he was the first 'outsider' to drive to my blog. I like to pull his leg a lot on twitter, and he does that too (pull his own leg)! Thanks for discovering me dude.

Nalini, is very senior to me as a blogger as well as in experience, but she is someone who's comment cannot be missed on my posts. I have a confession here, I do visit your poem and photo blogs every time you post something new, but I have little knowledge of both; they are too good for me to comment. Sorry and thank you!

This post is dedicated to each and every reader of The Brainwave, so if you do not find your name here, do not fear, you did cross my mind while writing this! Thanks a ton people!

But, I have to thank someone above all! Without that special someone all this readership, the writings, the 1 year would have not been possible at all.
My life as a blogger without IndiBlogger would have been that of a beggar in the slums.
IndiBlogger gave The Addy Brainwave the identity it enjoys today, the people you've read about above would not have been possible without indiblogger, the meets I talked about were IndiMeets, the forum I talked about was IndiForum, the competitions and contests I talked about were all on Indiblogger.
My best times online have been spent blogging, as AddyBrainwave or at the IndiForum. At indiblogger I graduated from a newbie blogger to the IndiPolice! And to hold all the prized positions at IndiVine.
And, Indiblogger could not have been possible without the IndiTeam: RenieAnoopAnwin, Karthick, BG, Vineet, Naveen Roy, Diana, Rashmi and everyone else I have missed. Thanks a ton, you guys rock!

Happy Birthday to The Addy Brainwave!

A Conversation Plateful

I took a bite, the juicy flesh, the spicy curry, the smooth molten butter took me to cloud #9! Nothing's better than a plate of Butter Chicken! Just then, she said sobbing "....then why do you dump me every time..."
And I couldn't gulp my chicken! The taste in my mouth, heaven, awesomastic, superlicious, finger-eating-good! But, having your favorite dish and not able to push it down your oesophagus.....hell, effmatic, crapsome, shit-smelling-bad!

I sat at my favorite road-side dhaba, ordered a full Butter Chicken and 4 Tandoori Rotis, as chotu cleaned the uneven and bacteria infested wooden table with an even dirtier towel that sits lifelessly on his torn-dirty banyan laden shoulders. Now, I wait to enjoy my "Till-Death-Do-Us-Apart food".
They say, "If there is a paradise on earth, it's in Kashmir"; for me though, my paradise arrived in a large, deep steel bowl right at my table.
As I prepared to put 'my paradise' in my mouth, a weak, squeaky voice said "Humpff, you again!"
I jumped and looked around for a face of the voice, and only saw finger-licking and "om nom nom..." uttering ugly faces!
"It's me you dumbo! Don't pretend that you don't even know I exist!"
To my horror and amazement, it was the Butter Chicken talking! I couldn't say anything; I just sat there staring at it with an open mouth, which involuntarily kept zooming towards the bowl.
"Don't tell me you are not even going to use your hand to eat me! You sicko!"
Without uttering a word, I dipped my hand in the gravy, picked a meaty piece and put it in my mouth.
"I don't get it! Why would you eat me that often when you don't even like me?"
That did it! I took out the piece from my mouth and responded quicker than you could think "Shit"!
"What? But, I love you! Why else would I order you in the first place?"
"Humpf! Just eat, you cruel man!"
"I'm a cruel man?"
"Yes, even Hugh Hefner isn't that cruel!"
"Hugh Hefner? Umm....I don't get it, why are you so pissed off at me? When I'm the self-proclaimed biggest fan of Butter Chicken in the whole world?
"Self-proclaimed huh? That word says it all!"
"No, others believe it too! Here, ask chotu!"
"Not needed, I know who you really are!"
"No baby you don't! Hell! I even lie to my mom that I don't eat you on Tuesdays!"
"That's quiet flattering!"
"Right? And I love you so much, that I've had Butter Chicken at every bloody restaurant and dhaba in the city! And finally came to the conclusion, that chotu is the one who prepares you the best!"
"Really, you like me that much? Are you being honest?"
"Absolutely! Never been more!" And I finally took a bite and started to chew on the meat.
"So you really love me that much, that you eat me for dinner almost every night?"
"Yup!" I said with a mouthful Butter Chicken, the juicy flesh, the spicy curry, the smooth molten butter took me to cloud #9!
"I don't get it! If you really love me that much..." and she said the rest sobbing "....then why do you dump me the very next morning? Every time.........."
